Puerto Villamil, Isabela
Iguana Crossing is a modern boutique hotel with a great beachfront location. Guests can enjoy relaxed and friendly local hospitality as you watch the iguanas go about their business.
The hotel is on Isabela Island, set on the beachfront, in a gorgeous natural setting. Stroll down towards the beach, and you’ll most likely come across marine iguanas crossing from the wetlands down to the beach, hence the name of the hotel.
Iguana Crossing was constructed by local artisans, using local materials, typical of the region. The result is a contemporary feel with striking modern furniture, uncluttered with clean lines. The goal was to build an ecolodge offering a quality stay, whilst maintaining a delicate balance with the environment.
