Galapagos Safari Camp

This family-owned camp is set in 55 hectares of grounds in the Santa Cruz highlands. The open plan main lodge is set high on a volcanic ridge and from here you can see across to the ocean and neighbouring islands. The lounge with its large fireplace is a good place to read, chat to other guests, sip a drink from the bar and unwind after a day out exploring. Meals are served at the large table in the dining room and out on the terrace. Enjoy a cooling swim in the infinity pool, sunbathe on the deck, and head up to the observatory for panoramic views and sundowner drinks.

There are 9 Meru walk-in tents, each of 28 square metres with 2 twin beds that can be joined to form a double, clothes and luggage storage space and an en-suite shower room with hot and cold running water. Other facilities include tea and coffee makers. Sliding gauze doors open on to a private veranda with chairs and a hammock.

There’s a family suite, a wooden cabin with 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are interconnecting, and 2 bathrooms, plus a children’s playroom and a large terrace. It sleeps up to 6 and is ideal for families.

Land and water-based activities can be arranged including mountain biking, horse riding, kayaking, snorkelling and diving, plus a range of excursions on Santa Cruz and to neighbouring islands.
