Nortada is a French-built motor yacht, fully refurbished and refitted in 2014 to the tune of US$1.5 million as a Galapagos dive boat. The 4 cabins are all are en-suite and between them accommodate a maximum of 8 passengers. All are en-suite. There’s a pleasant air conditioned lounge and dining area on the main deck and an upper sun deck. All meals and snacks on board, plus tea, coffee and fruit juices with meals are included.
She carries extensive diving and safety gear (see the specifications below for full details) including 2 inflatable dinghies to take divers to and from sites, and has a spacious diving platform with plenty of seating, camera tables and outside showers. Full rebreather and technical diving support are provided and there will be a dive master on board. Dive operations are managed by a 5 star PADI Dive and Training Facility in the Galapagos Islands.
Nortada offers 8 and 15 day cruises concentrating on Wolf and Darwin islands, and offers some shore excursions as well as dives (up to 18 on the 8-day itinerary) during each trip. Itineraries are designed to maximise diving and provide great value for money. Private charters are flexible and can be tailored to specialist interests, such as photography.

For private charters Nortada can accommodate up to 12 passengers, using all 3 berths in each cabin, though 8 is the usual maximum. If there are 12 divers, there will be a second dive master.

- FRI: Arrive in Baltra. Check dive in Puerto Ayora
- SAT: Baltra and Santiago area: Baltra N/E or Punta Carrion. Cousin Rock
- SUN: Wolf Island: Shark Bay / Landslide. La Ventana Islet / La Banana
- MON: Darwin Island: Darwin’s Arch / El Arenal
- TUE: Wolf Island: Shark Bay / Landslide. La Ventana Islet / La Banana
- WED: Bartolome area: Cape Douglas. Punta Vicente Roca – diving, snorkelling or panga ride

There are 4 cabins, all on the lower deck. Each has 2 single lower berths and 1 single upper berth, so can sleep up to 3 people. All cabins are air conditioned, have drawers, a locker, safe, porthole (as opposed to a window) and shower room with running hot and cold water.

|On Board:||The open plan lounge and dining room is on the main deck. Also on this deck is the scuba diving platform with ample seating, rebreather rinsing facilities, outdoor showers and camera tables. Above this is the sun deck, next to the flying bridge. Nortada has two 15-foot inflatable tenders with 25HP outboard motors to transport divers to and from dive sites.|
|Dive equipment and facilities:||All divers are given a Nautilus Lifeline bi-directional VHF/DSC marine radio with GPS, dive alert and DSMB. In additional all divers will have a complete toolkit and selection of solid lead weights and tri soft pouches. 20 Nitrox compatible aluminium 80cf/12lt cylinders are filled by one of the twin Nuvair LP/HP Compressors. Two Nuvair nitrox analyzers are available on board. For technical and rebreather diving, redundant oxygen clean Haskell Sport Boosters, one Tri Hunter 3000 Gas mixing stick for Trimix blending, several nitrox compatible 40cf/6lt aluminium stage cylinders and several 19 cf/2lt steel rebreather cylinders with various valves and one Analytical Industries Trimix Analyzer are available upon request|
